Hotel Barrière Fouquet’s New York uses a carefully considered combination of Havwoods flooring to complement Martin Brudnizki’s richly layered interiors. Custom Versailles Quadro (HW3880) and a bespoke Chevron design introduce distinctive parquet detailing throughout the hotel and guest rooms, while Bronzo Chevron (HW16606P) brings the rich warmth of Havwoods’ Auburn color group to the lobby. Together, the different formats help create an interior that connects French design influence with the intimate, residential character of Tribeca.
Bespoke parquet meets Parisian-inspired luxury
Paris meets New York
Located among the cobblestoned streets of Tribeca, Hotel Barrière Fouquet’s New York brings the French art de vivre of Groupe Barrière to the United States. Designed by Martin Brudnizki, the hotel combines Parisian influence with the more residential character of its New York setting. Havwoods flooring plays an important role throughout, with a combination of custom Versailles Quadro (HW3880), bespoke Chevron flooring and Bronzo Chevron (HW16606P) creating distinctive foundations for different areas of the hotel.

Bespoke flooring for the guest rooms
Within the guest rooms, a bespoke Chevron floor was developed to complement the softer, residential-inspired interior. Lavender, green and cream tones are layered with rich upholstery, high-gloss burr walnut and carefully considered furnishings, creating an intimate alternative to the traditional palette of the original Hôtel Barrière Fouquet’s Paris. The custom flooring brings warmth and movement underfoot while supporting the relaxed luxury of the rooms.
Versailles with a custom perspective
Elsewhere in the hotel, Versailles Quadro (HW3880) introduces another expression of parquet flooring. Custom-designed for the project, its geometric composition references the elegance of traditional European interiors while complementing the hotel’s Art Deco influences. The result is a characterful surface that connects the property’s French heritage with the distinctive design language created for its Tribeca location.

Auburn warmth with Bronzo
In the lobby, Bronzo Chevron (HW16606P) creates a rich and welcoming first impression. Bronzo is the Hero color of Havwoods’ Auburn color group, sitting between lighter Honey tones and deeper Cocoa shades. Its warm brown coloring brings depth and character to the interior, while the Chevron format adds subtle movement. Paired with the hotel’s layered materials and refined detailing, Bronzo helps establish the sophisticated yet comfortable atmosphere that continues throughout the property.
