Set in a historic home, the original space had a historic presence layered with the signature black and white palette of the LEKFIT fitness brand. For this flagship project, it was essential to the team that we carry the character of the original residential framework into the new space where the fitness studio now stands.

A residential approach to wellness

Set within a historic Los Angeles home, LEKFIT’s flagship fitness studio takes a distinctive approach to wellness design. Rather than adopting the raw, industrial aesthetic often associated with fitness spaces, the interior retains elements of the building’s residential character while introducing LEKFIT’s signature black and white palette. The result is a welcoming environment that brings a more considered, design-led feel to the boutique fitness experience.

Monochrome from the ground up

Running throughout the studio, Sagrati Herringbone (HW16057) creates a strong foundation for the monochrome interior. Its deep, near-black tone complements the brand’s visual identity, while the herringbone pattern introduces movement and detail across the floor. As a prime grade product, Sagrati offers a cleaner, more refined appearance that works particularly well against the crisp white walls, dark architectural details and contrasting finishes.

Italian collection craftsmanship

Part of the Italian Collection, Sagrati demonstrates how patterned wood flooring can bring a sense of luxury to unexpected commercial environments. The herringbone format adds visual interest while complementing both the historic architecture and contemporary additions. Sagrati is also FSC® Certified Timber (FSC-C009500), providing a responsibly sourced wood flooring option for commercial interiors where design and material specification are equally important.
